PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the general direction of the administrator, the Extended Day Asst. Instructor assists in providing academic support and facilitating enrichment and recreation activities for the students participating in PHUSD’s after school care program along with miscellaneous duties. Embraces the philosophy & mission statements of the Placer Hills Union School District. Located at Weimar Hills Middle School Monday-Friday 8/13/26-6/4/27 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations: Current TB Adult/Child CPR & 1st Aid certification, within 30 days of hire Current immunization against Measles, Pertussis, & Influenza Fingerprint clearance from Department of Justice required at time of employment High School Diploma or equivalent Child Development units preferred
Education & Experience: A professional & inviting manner will be presented to all Extended Day clients & staff Minimum 6 months experience in recreational-based groupings with school-aged children/education preferred and/ or childcare experience Ability to pass a qualification assessment or degree
