Job Summary

Forest Lake Christian School is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Lower Elementary Teachers to join our Christ-centered learning community. Teachers will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students in the lower elementary grades while fostering academic growth and integrating biblical principles into daily learning. The ideal candidates will create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports the spiritual, academic, and social development of each student. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons in core subject areas, assessing student progress, maintaining effective communication with parents, and collaborating with faculty and administration to support the mission and values of FLCS. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for teaching young learners and a commitment to Christian education.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field Valid teaching credential preferred (or willingness to obtain a credential) Experience teaching middle school students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Christian education

Forest Lake Christian School (“FLCS”) is an independent, coeducational day school serving students from Preschool through Grade 12.
